Why a Rex and Sphynx breed group, you may ask?
From the explosion in numbers of breeders in this group, it can be considered that the Rex and Sphynx breeds are one of the fastest expanding group of cats in the cat fancy today. Rexes are famous for their personality and are considered by many as the "designer cats" of the fancy. Like hairstyles and clothing today: Rexes and Sphynxes are relatively easy to maintain and "fun" cats.
What we hope to achieve is to promote our Short and Curly Breeds to the general public first of all, but also to learn more about them, to learn from each other and to HAVE FUN while doing it. This will enable us to make informed decisions about choosing the right cats to breed with, to form a base on which to breed some of the best Rex and Sphynx cats in the world.
